Welcome to Chronyte. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our social media scheduling platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (managed securely through Supabase Authentication).

2.2 Connected Social Media Accounts

When you connect social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn), we collect and store:

OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens (used to post on your behalf)
Your social media user/page IDs and usernames
Page names and associated metadata

We do NOT store your social media passwords. Authentication is handled via OAuth through each platform's official API.

2.3 Content You Create

We store the content you create and schedule through our platform, including post text, uploaded images and videos (stored via Cloudinary), scheduling times, and template data.

2.4 Usage Data

We may collect basic usage analytics such as pages visited, features used, and error logs to improve our service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and maintain the scheduling service
Publish posts to your connected social media accounts at your scheduled times
Generate AI-powered content suggestions using third-party AI services (Groq, Google Gemini)
Send you service-related notifications
Improve and optimize our platform
Comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services:

Supabase — authentication and database storage
Cloudinary — media file storage and delivery
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Graph API — social media posting
X/Twitter API — social media posting
LinkedIn API — social media posting
Groq / Google Gemini — AI content generation

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security policies, and secure token storage. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with third-party services as described in Section 4, and only as necessary to provide the scheduling service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Disconnect any linked social media account at any time
Export your data upon request

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
